Licensing
As part of the Business Law Unit, Ashton Graham has specialist solicitors who deal with a wide range of licensing matters. They cover all issues relating to the provision
of regulated activities under the Licensing Act 2003, from the administration of
basic applications to the advocacy relating to contested applications (whether on
behalf of an applicant or the representations of interested parties).
Members of the team are based both in the Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich offices and
all are focused fully on delivering results.
These specialists have developed excellent working relationships with Licensing
Authorities and statutory agencies through the benefit of advice offered as a result
of the transition to the Licensing Act 2003 regime. Our clients are not only impressed
by the quality of the results we deliver but also the pragmatic and progressive
methods by which these results are achieved.
We act for a number of clients operating bars, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets
and convenience stores as well as dealing with new licences and variations for all
types of premises, from the high street to the rural village or community centre.
Ashton Graham’s approach is very much based upon a ‘can-do’ attitude and the expertise
we have means that we can advise our clients on what can be achieved in any given
timescale.
