Funding Options 

There are a number of different funding options, which are available depending upon the circumstances of each individual case. Our aim is to ensure that clients are given the best advice about funding options in relation to their action. Below are some of the options that are available through the Dispute Resolution Department:-

• Conditional Fee Agreements – This type of agreement is also known as a “no win no fee” agreement.
• Split fee arrangement – This is an arrangement whereby we agree an hourly rate with you but agree to invoice you at a discounted rate as the case progresses.
• Public funding certificates – In some circumstances it is possible to obtain a public funding certificate through the Legal Services Commission.
• After the event insurance cover – In some cases it is possible to obtain after the event insurance policy.
• Before the event insurance cover.
