Ashton Graham regards the recruitment and training of solicitors and other lawyers as a vital part of the development of the firm.
Ashton Graham recruits one or two trainee solicitors and legal executives every year. We offer the opportunity to work closely with the firm's partners with a high degree of flexibility and responsibility. With only one or two trainee solicitors taken on each year, trainees receive high quality work and exceptional support and encouragement.
We aim to recruit trainee solicitors with the potential to become partners in the firm, and while we cannot guarantee a position on completion of the training contract, 7 of the firm's partners and 5 of our assistant solicitors, also trained with the firm.
Who should apply?
Law and non-law graduates with second class degrees or better.
Training contracts
Four seats of five months each, with the final four months spent in continuation training in one of them. Usually a combination of (1) private client (2) property (3) litigation and (4) company/commercial.
