Jonathan Rands joins the expanding corporate team at Ashton Graham.

Jonathan joins from an Ipswich-based law firm where he headed the Corporate Department for many years. He has practiced in Ipswich for 20 years and is looking forward to reuniting with Petra Sharp who joined us earlier this year.

Jonathan is the third person to join our corporate team within the last eight months.

Having qualified in 1980, Jonathan has spent his entire professional career working in the commercial environment, both within industry and in private practice. Before returning to private practice in Suffolk Jonathan’s earlier London-based career included several years as group legal adviser to a multinational, negotiating large-scale overseas construction contracts.

Jonathan specialises in company and business sales and corporate finance but is also able to advise on a wide range of contractual and commercial issues.

Paul Whittingham who heads up the Business Law Unit within Ashton Graham commented ‘We are tremendously pleased to be welcoming Jonathan to the firm. His vast wealth of business knowledge and experience, combined with his understanding of local business, makes him an invaluable acquisition to the team’.
